My Babiie Travel Accessories: Which Ones Do You Need?

Skip the guesswork: here's when the MB220 car seat adapters, a universal phone holder for pushchair and a stroller travel storage bag earn their place in your kit.
Quick answer
Buy only the accessories that remove a daily friction point. For most MB220 Pramette owners that means the MB220 Car Seat Adapters first; add a Universal Phone Holder if you navigate while pushing, and a Stroller travel storage bag for MB51 Stroller only if you own that pushchair and need protection in transit.
Why travel accessories are easy to overbuy
Pushchair accessories often look useful in isolation but duplicate something you already carry. A phone holder, for example, only helps if your phone is usually in your hand or pocket while you push. A storage bag only helps if the pushchair actually leaves your home in a car, train or plane.
The practical test is simple: name the trip where the accessory changes your routine. If you cannot name one, it can wait. The three My Babiie accessories below each solve a specific, different problem, so they rarely overlap.
When the car seat adapters are the priority
If you use an infant carrier for short errands, the car-to-pushchair transfer is the moment you most want to streamline. The MB220 Car Seat Adapters are designed specifically for the MB220 Pramette Travel System and the MBCS02 Infant Carrier, so they are not a universal fit. Check your exact model before buying; if you own a different travel system, these adapters are the wrong purchase.
Where a phone holder and storage bag fit in
A Universal Phone Holder is a convenience item, not a safety device. It keeps your phone reachable for GPS or photos, but it does not replace keeping your hands on the pushchair in traffic or on uneven ground. The Stroller travel storage bag for MB51 Stroller is the opposite: a protection item for transit, with a tailored fit for that model only. Neither is essential for every parent, which is why they come after the adapters in priority.
Travel accessory FAQ
- Do I need the MB220 Car Seat Adapters?
- Only if you own the MB220 Pramette Travel System and use the MBCS02 Infant Carrier. They securely link the two so you can move from car to stroller without waking your baby. If you have a different travel system, skip them. Check your travel system and carrier model numbers before ordering.
- Is a universal phone holder for pushchair worth it?
- Yes if you regularly use your phone for directions or photos while pushing. It keeps the phone secure and within reach. No if your phone stays in your bag or pocket, because it adds one more thing to attach and remove. Decide based on how often your phone is in your hand during walks.
- When does the stroller travel storage bag make sense?
- Buy it if you own the MB51 Stroller and need to keep it clean and compact during car, train or plane travel. The tailored fit is the point; it is not a one-size bag for other pushchairs. Match the bag to your exact pushchair model, not just the brand.
- Can I use these accessories on any My Babiie pushchair?
- No. The adapters are tied to the MB220 Pramette Travel System and MBCS02 Infant Carrier, and the storage bag is tailored to the MB51 Stroller. The phone holder is the only one described as universal, but still check that it mounts securely on your handlebar. Treat model compatibility as the first filter, not the last.
- What should I buy first if I can only get one?
- Start with the MB220 Car Seat Adapters if you have the matching travel system and carrier, because they change the car-to-stroller routine. Add the phone holder or storage bag later only when a specific trip shows you need them. Prioritise the accessory that removes a repeated daily step.
